Creative Director and resident colour marketing expert for Home Hardware’s Paint and Home Products Division, Bev Bell brings tremendous enthusiasm, taste and experience to the task of inspiring people who want to do more by giving them the confidence to know that they can.
As a décor writer for Home at Home magazine, Bev also makes frequent guest appearances on television shows such as CityLine, Canadian House and Home and Breakfast Television.
Bev is an active member of the Color Marketing Group, which is an international organization that tracks colour and design trends, and the National Paint Designers Association. Bev also has guest speaking engagements across the country, speaking about home décor and design and decorating trends.

Bev has built an impressive career in commercial design and adult education. She unites these skills, blending in a large dose of passion, in her promotion of painting techniques, bold colour choices and innovative design decisions.
Phil Hudson is the successful owner and operator of The Beechwood Wellness Pharmacy and co-owner of Kalaya Natural Health and has used his vast knowledge and experience to help treat and counsel hundreds of women managing menopause, pre-menopause, and anti aging.
Phil has been an integral force in formulating and compounding natural health products which range from hormone replacement based cream used by pharmacists to anti aging and pain defying skin treatments.
Phil is a member of Canadian Pharmacists Association, Ontario College of Pharmacists, American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine, American Academy for the Advancement of Science, Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, National Drug Scheduling Advisory Committee, North American Menopause Society.
USA Today and Essence bestselling author, Kayla Perrin, is a woman of many faces. This teacher, performer and writer has always been creative! She submitted her first story to Scholastics when she was thirteen and placed first in the Silver Quill Literary Association’s short story contest when she was eighteen. Personal trainer for Nellie Fertado, Criss Angel and rocker Tom Cochrane, Bruce Krahn joins us on the Total Woman Show stage to share over 15 years of fitness wisdom. Bruce is the author of The Fat Fighter Diet (Wiley, 2007) and the president of eBodi.com - an online fitness and nutrition educational resource.
He is the co-founder of Bodizone Personal Fitness Studios, a personal training consulting company that has worked closely with large fitness equipment retailers and the corporate sector conducting fitness and nutrition seminars for companies including Purolator, General Electric and TD Bank. He is also the co-founder of Bodizone Recreation Management, and is responsible for the design and staffing of some of Ontario’s most prestigious condominium fitness centres.
D’Arcy has been active in the field of health promotion and community capacity building for more than twenty years. She works full time as a consultant, facilitating a variety of leadership development, planning and participatory learning opportunities with community groups and not-for-profit organizations.
Ada has over twenty years of experience in social services. Her background includes teaching, management, mediation and counseling. Currently she operates a private counseling practice in Waterloo and works as a counselor at a local community counseling agency.
Together, D’Arcy and Ada designed and facilitated a variety of events on the topic of women in midlife including day long workshops, focus groups, conversation cafes and presentations.
Chef Maribel Linfield is the nationally recognized Food Diva! She has taken her love of cooking to an entirely different level. Her company, www.fooddiva.com has made headlines for offering group cooking classes that turn ordinary topics into a fun, interactive and addictive challenges. In fact, even her most culinary challenged students find themselves coming back repeatedly to learn new tricks in her gorgeous kitchen.
Her flair for public speaking complemented by a great personality has landed this local diva on HGTV, CKCO CTV, London TV, Hamilton Television Live, Breakfast Television, in the Toronto Star, BESTTHINGS Magazine, on the Cooking Stage at the Total Woman Show and now the food segment host of “Grand River Living” on Rogers Television.
Maribel graduated from the Stratford Chef School with an award in Communications. For the past six summers, Maribel has served as a personal chef for an elite family on their private island in Muskoka Ontario. Maribel has worked at a variety of high end culinary establishments.
Luisa D’Amato
Luisa D'Amato is a reporter at The Record who loves to cook as much as she loves to write. Her father and grandmother taught her how. Before she was 16 she could make paella, cassoulet, and Grand Marnier soufflé. The New York City native spent her childhood in England and moved to Canada for her first job on a newspaper. She came to Kitchener in 1984 to work at The Record. She soon met the legendary Indian vegetarian cook and teacher Bharti Vibhakar, and helped her write her successful cookbook, "Spice of India." Luisa helped start The Record's successful "30-Minute Miracle" column eight years ago, which features meals that you can make in half an hour or less. Liz Monteiro is a reporter at The Record who grew in a Portuguese household where her mom cooked like a pro. Her love for Portuguese food is still strong, and many of her favourite recipes are featured in the 30-Minute Miracle Cookbook, published by The Record. Liz came to Kitchener in 1991 to work at The Record, and five years ago started writing the weekly food column with Luisa.
